This is my second autumn painting and there is snow today. Hmm,  it better go away, fall is my favorite season it can't end yet.

Circles contrast the lines creating interest and the fruit was good too.

Soft pastel colors feel soothing, airy and relaxing.  This was my mood today.

One last cantaloupe composition that was waiting around to get painted. The fruit is going out of season, however the tree's are full of these colors.

This was an idea photographed earlier in the summer and it didn't seem right to let it go by without being painted.  Although painting from real life is so much better for learning to see my camera is used to make reference photo's at the same time.

Autumn rose

It had been over a year since my last visit to a florist and recently there has been two visit's in the last month. What a surprise to find another beautiful rose perfect for the fall season.

This is the last painting for this litter of kittens.  Each of these last three paintings were executed differently from each other.  What joy it was painting fur and those cute faces making each painting as individual as the kitten.
