Recently I traveled up north for a few days and now a local art group is having a Michigan Waters exhibit so the timing was perfect.  I don't want to give the location away it will be more fun if someone recognizes the lake.  The name of the painting came from a t-shirt that was purchased on this trip, just loved it.

These colors are so yummy. Not sure if I am going to get any more tulips to paint mine finished blooming last week.

This weekend I will be exhibiting as an emerging artist in the East Lansing Art Fair, Saturday and Sunday. This is their 50th Annual event. Lots of great art and things to see and do.

This is the last painting of daffodils for this year.  Moving on, the tulips are blooming.

This piece of glass has a little pocket for flowers and is one of my favorite's purchased from a gallery on the artisan loop in Gatlinburg Tn.  To get those great shadows it took a clip on lamp held underneath the vase.
