Over the holiday weekend we traveled into Northern Michigan. This was painted plein air from a balcony during a thunderstorm at the ski resort. It rained all day until 5 pm. It should have helped put out the fires burning in the UP however I heard today they are still burning. Hope they get put out soon we are losing beautiful forests.
