Minneola

This is an interesting composition at least that is how it ended up being after the painting began.  The blue vase behind the orange peel is an eye grabber however the orange pieces and clear glass have their own appeal they seem to work together very nicely.

The minneola is a tangelo, a hybrid of Duncan grapefruit and Dancy mandarin who would have thought?

    I think it's an interesting composition, too. And I love the color palette - nice painting!

    Thanks Chris and the workshop was really interesting and learned new things. My drive home was challenging as I hit the border back into Michigan, we have record snow this month.
