Sandy Beach

5 feet wide by 4 feet tall

Cold wax and oil on cradled hardboard

From start to finish my paintings average 6 months on my easel.  There are many layers to build the colors into the finished surface and complete the sides.  It was cold dark and snowy when thoughts of summer shimmered in my mind.

That sandy beach has real sand added to the painting, how cool is that!

Dusk

This painting is from memory riding my 4 wheeler in the woods as the sun sets right before everything looses definition and then ....... you can't see.
